DESCRIPTION:1st of 2 Sessions \nThis 6-hour focused topic training for caregivers provides an in-depth exploration of the emotional trauma that children in out-of-home care have been through and how it can impact them.  The training focuses on strategic and practical skill building for caregivers to foster healing and resiliency in the children for whom they care. The takeaway from this training is how to identify and address the emotional wounds of the children in your care so healing can begin. \nLuanne Hawley has been a licensed foster parent for 25 years\, as well as a relative care provider and adoptive parent.
