WEBINAR – Family Impact Network – Food & Hygiene: Common Behaviors in Children with Trauma History
May 7, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 3:45 pm
Children who have experienced trauma, neglect and/or abuse often have odd behaviors regarding food (hording, eating too much, getting upset before meal times) or often struggle with bathroom hygiene, not bathing enough or other quirky tendencies around food and hygiene in general. Sometimes caregivers or professionals find themselves completely challenged by these common, yet frustrating behaviors. This webinar will discuss the reasons behind these occurrences, as well as offer some practical and easy ideas to help.
This training is sponsored by Family Impact Network and facilitated by Zia Freeman, MA, LMHC, Community Educator with Coordinated Care.
